Job Description:

We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team of room attendants and ensure we provide excellent customer service.

Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members and checking private and public areas for tidiness. You will help to ensure our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and that guests are satisfied.

Job Description: 

 

FOH Support Staff provide support to Servers by inspecting all tables for proper set-up, cleanliness, and completeness. 

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties 

  • Answer questions about food, beverages, wine, and any general questions about the resort. 
  • Assist with food running and ensuring that plates arrive to the proper guest. 
  • Monitor the cleanliness of all tables and areas in the restaurant and ensure that all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter. 
  • Clear plates off tables as soon as the guests are done eating and offer to replace side plates and cutlery where necessary. 
  • Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required. 
  • Communicate with servers and hosts to maximize seating. 
  • Empty garbage changes linen bags and dispose of garbage and recycling. 
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Tofino Resort + Marina is looking for on-call Banquet Servers to join our culinary team. 

Be part of our many events from weddings to fishing derbies to local collaborative events like Feast, Whale Fest, and the Rip Curl Pro Tofino.  

 

Job Description: 

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties 

  • Assist with function room set ups for a variety of events, including but not limited to meetings, weddings and private dinners.   
  • Run food from the kitchen to the banquet on demand. 
  • Ensure tables and room are set as per banquet event orders.  
  • Set up food stations with presentation standards and safe food handling practices in mind. 
  • Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to customer requests in a timely and appropriate manner. 
  • Communicate with banquet supervisor as well as other servers and event organizers 
  • Serve alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages 
  • Open wine and take drink orders 
  • Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks 

 

Job Requirements/Qualifications: 

  • Be 19 years of age and possess a Serving It Right certification. 
  • 1+ years hospitality experience in a customer facing role. 
  • Previous banqueting experience or working in a high-volume establishment an asset
