What You Do.  

  • Create and execute strategic Marketing Plan for Tofino Resort + Marina and all of it sub brands. 
  • Develop and adhere to marketing budget and allocate/invest funds wisely  
  • Measure, analyze and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals and ensure all marketing material is in line with our brand identity. 
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution  
  • Liaison between General Manager and our fabulous consultants on the Tofino Resort + Marina team including. Leapxd (Branding and WebDev), Jeremy Koreski (Digital), Filter Studios (Cinematographers), our chief storyteller Mike Berard, Hawksworth Communications (Communications), Juice Group (Graphic Design), Katrina Bernaus (Marketing Coordinator)
  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door  
  • Deploying successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution  
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis, and much more  
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups 
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors  
  • Keep the community of Tofino and the world up to date with events. Work closely with department heads to drive strategic plans by department 
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels

Job requirements:

  • BBA/MBA degree in marketing or a related field.

  • Skilled and knowledgeable in maintenance operations such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general repairs.

  • Implement a tool and equipment log ensuring security of all such equipment is maintained

FOH Support Staff provide support to Servers by inspecting all tables for proper set-up, cleanliness, and completeness.

  • Answer questions about food, beverages, wine, and any general questions about the resort. 
  • Assist with food running and ensuring that plates arrive to the proper guest. 
  • Monitor the cleanliness of all tables and areas in the restaurant and ensure that all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter. 
  • Clear plates off tables as soon as the guests are done eating and offer to replace side plates and cutlery where necessary. 
  • Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required.

Adventure and Logistics Coordinator

People come to Tofino to experience adventure, but many of them need guidance and almost all of them need us to make it happen. Do you enjoy helping people get to their first surf break, witness a bear up close, or view a whale breaching in the wild? We have a job for you.  

The fun kind of adventure doesn’t happen without planning, and as an Adventure and Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for the behind-the-scenes action that keeps our guests out on the water and deep in fun. You will work closely with the Adventure and Marina Operations manager to create a seamless guest experience and further the reach of the adventurous Tofino Resort and Marina brand.
