“Growing up in London and graduating from the University of Western Ontario, I was lucky enough to begin my career in some amazing locations around the globe—Muskoka, Whistler, Australia, and the Bahamas. I found a long-term home at the Drake Hotel, a dynamic environment in the heart of Queen West Toronto. In 2020, I had the pleasure of joining Tofino Resort + Marina in the role of Assistant General Manager. Leaving briefly to lead the team at Cobble Beach, one of Canada’s Top 100 Golf Courses, I was lucky enough to come back to TRM in the summer of 2023 in my current role. Tofino is a special place and being able to help create once in a lifetime experience for our many guests is an absolute privilege. I am looking forward to always calling it home.”

“Growing up on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, I developed an appreciation for the ocean by spending time surrounded by it. Hearing stories of my ancestors navigating the seas via ship instilled a huge respect for nature’s power in me from a young age.
I feel grateful to have grown up by the ocean and to have fostered an appreciation for the way it moves, inspires, and humbles us. Calling Tofino home since 2015 has been an absolute pleasure as I am able to share my passion for nature with the community as well as our guests daily.”

“Born and raised in Germany, I set off on a work-and-travel adventure to Canada in 2010 – landing in Tofino and quickly realizing I’d found something special. What started as a one-year plan turned into more than a decade of coastal living, working at Middle Beach Lodge, the Wickaninnish Inn, Tofino Resort + Marina and for a change of pace, at the cutest of all bookshops: Mermaid Tales!
After a few years exploring Nova Scotia and Victoria, life did what it does best – shifted the tides. I’m excited to have rejoined TRM in spring 2026, working with an incredible team, keeping TRM a place people love to work and enjoying what might just be the best office view around.”

“When I first visited Tofino a few years ago, I realized that this was the paradise on earth I was looking for. Consequently, I moved here permanently to enjoy all kinds of adventures in the peaceful nature that surrounds us.
