Flight Service Agent (Summer 2025 season)
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Respond to enquiries about flights and adventure tours over the phone, in person, and via email
- Make reservations for flights and adventure tours
- Passenger check-ins, including baggage handling
- Maintain clear communication with Harbour Air team and dock hands for flight updates and cancellations
- Communicate flight updates to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in arranging alternative transportation for guests when flights are cancelled
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Harbour Air and Marina/ Adventure Centre offerings
- Assist with Adventure Centre + dock duties as required
- Assist in catch and release of aircraft
- Occasional shuttle bus driving may be required from time to time
- Other general counter duties as required
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in the tourism industry
- Class 4 drivers license is an asset, but can be provided by the employer if hired
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work well independently as well in a team setting
- Proven ability to be an effective member of a team
- Demonstrated computer knowledge and experience working in a Windows based platform
- Ability to lift heavy baggage 23kg (50 lb)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Adventure Host (Summer 2025 season)
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Resort and Adventure Centre offerings
- Answer guest inquiries about adventure tours in person, via email, and over the phone
- Assist guests with waiver completion and floatation devices
- Monitor VHF Radio 66Alfa, check in with boat captains at regular intervals
- Harbour Air flight check-ins + bookings
- Moorage check-ins and bookings
- Administer Tuff Fit gym memberships
- Daily POS Transactions
- Organize and re-shelve merchandise daily, maintain current product knowledge
- Assist in retail inventory and on dock as required
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Cash handling experience required
- Eco-tourism/marine/hospitality background an asset
- Willingness to learn about eco-tourism and hospitality industry
- Strong sales skills

Housekeeper (Summer 2025 season)
Job Description:
- Clean Guest Rooms daily while adhering to company standards of room cleanliness
- Maintain, clean, and stock Housekeeping Storage Rooms
- Maintain, clean, and stock Housekeeping Carts
- Maintain and clean Resort property and common grounds
- Adhere to company standards in cleanliness and employee etiquette
- Assist in the Resort Laundry Section when required
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Cell phone with Canadian phone plan to communicate with team during work
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- Comfortability cleaning pet-friendly rooms

Marine Guide (SVOP)
Job Description:
- Guide various adventure and wildlife tours such as bear watching, whale watching, the Ultimate Adventure, Hot Springs Cove, and the Remote Floating Sauna
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Prepare and maintain vessels and all associated equipment
- Follow highest level of safety standards while operating tours
- File maintenance log reports when needed and maintain open communication with Guide Supervisor to ensure issues are resolved immediately
- Follow Transport Canada and TRM’s rules and standard operating procedures, including spill response guidelines
- Consistent and efficient communication with Adventure + Marine Operations office regarding scheduling and trips
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- SVOP, MED A3, Marine Basic First Aid, CPR, and ROC-M necessary
- Experience guiding marine tours and driving small vessels necessary
- Punctual, organized, reliable, and effective communication skills
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of Clayoquot Sound and local flora and fauna a tremendous asset
- Genuine passion for eco-tourism and willingness to become a steward of the surrounding land and waters
Wage:
- $22-$44/hour

Sea Kayak Guide (SVOP)
Job Description:
- Guide groups of up to 6 on 4.5 hour remote kayaking tours up to twice a day
- Assistant guide will join for groups of 7 or more
- Season expectation April 15th – October 15th
- Pilot vessels with maximum 600hp (twin screw)
- Educate guests on local flora and fauna including intertidal species, eagles, seals, black bears, orcas etc.
- Prepare equipment for trips and provide basic maintenance of kayak equipment
- Be well versed in industry standards of safety and marine regulations
- Guides paid biweekly, based on number of trips guided. No tip pooling
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- SVOP, MED A3, Marine Basic First Aid & CPR and ROC-M certification required
- Level 1 Kayak guide certification required
- Positive and self-motivated, able to work well independently and cooperatively with coworkers
- Punctual, organized, reliable with effective communication skills
- Minimum 1 year experience as SVOP captain
- Minimum 1 year experience as kayak guide
- Physically fit and able to conduct man overboard drills, lift up to 50lbs etc.
- Desire to be a steward of the environment
- Knowledge of Clayoquot sound and local flora and fauna an asset
- Experience repairing fiberglass kayaks an asset
Wage:
- $30-$36/hour

Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Description:
- Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the resort.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to maintain quality control.
- Train new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally
- Clean hotel rooms and cover regular housekeeping duties as needed
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Comfortability cleaning pet friendly rooms.
