Dock Hand (Summer 2025 season)
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and visitors of Tofino Resort + Marina
- Clean, organize, and maintain dock and marina facilities
- Conduct dock walks to ensure vessels are tied down securely and docks are clear from hazards
- Preform minor repairs to dock facilities
- Work in tandem with the charter office to facilitate docking and departures of vessels and Harbour Air seaplanes
- Assist in icing fishing vessels
- Assist in fueling vessels and float planes
- Communicate dock rules and policies to guests
- Advise moorage guests of sea and weather conditions
- Assist in preparing vessels for Adventure Tours and cleaning boats post-trip
- Prepare sport caught fish for processing
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience in the marine and boating industries required
- Ability to problem solve in creative ways
- Ability to work effectively within a team and take direction well
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of the Clayoquot Sound and local flora and fauna an asset
- SVOP, MED A3, ROC-M certifications an asset

Housekeeper (Part-Time Summer 2025 season)
Job Description:
- Clean Guest Rooms daily while adhering to company standards of room cleanliness
- Maintain, clean, and stock Housekeeping Storage Rooms
- Maintain, clean, and stock Housekeeping Carts
- Maintain and clean Resort property and common grounds
- Adhere to company standards in cleanliness and employee etiquette
- Assist in the Resort Laundry Section when required
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Cell phone with Canadian phone plan to communicate with team during work
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- Comfortability cleaning pet-friendly rooms

Marine Guide (SVOP)
Job Description:
- Guide various adventure and wildlife tours such as bear watching, whale watching, the Ultimate Adventure, Hot Springs Cove, and the Remote Floating Sauna
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Prepare and maintain vessels and all associated equipment
- Follow highest level of safety standards while operating tours
- File maintenance log reports when needed and maintain open communication with Guide Supervisor to ensure issues are resolved immediately
- Follow Transport Canada and TRM’s rules and standard operating procedures, including spill response guidelines
- Consistent and efficient communication with Adventure + Marine Operations office regarding scheduling and trips
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- SVOP, MED A3, Marine Basic First Aid, CPR, and ROC-M necessary
- Experience guiding marine tours and driving small vessels necessary
- Punctual, organized, reliable, and effective communication skills
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of Clayoquot Sound and local flora and fauna a tremendous asset
- Genuine passion for eco-tourism and willingness to become a steward of the surrounding land and waters

Sea Kayak Guide (SVOP)
Job Description:
- Guide groups of up to 6 on 4.5 hour remote kayaking tours up to twice a day
- Assistant guide will join for groups of 7 or more
- Season expectation April 15th – October 15th
- Pilot vessels with maximum 600hp (twin screw)
- Educate guests on local flora and fauna including intertidal species, eagles, seals, black bears, orcas etc.
- Prepare equipment for trips and provide basic maintenance of kayak equipment
- Be well versed in industry standards of safety and marine regulations
- Guides paid biweekly, based on number of trips guided. No tip pooling
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- SVOP, MED A3, Marine Basic First Aid & CPR and ROC-M certification required
- Level 1 Kayak guide certification required
- Positive and self-motivated, able to work well independently and cooperatively with coworkers
- Punctual, organized, reliable with effective communication skills
- Minimum 1 year experience as SVOP captain
- Minimum 1 year experience as kayak guide
- Physically fit and able to conduct man overboard drills, lift up to 50lbs etc.
- Desire to be a steward of the environment
- Knowledge of Clayoquot sound and local flora and fauna an asset
- Experience repairing fiberglass kayaks an asset
Wage:
- $30-$36/hour

Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Description:
- Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the resort
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to maintain quality control
- Train new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortability cleaning pet friendly rooms
Wage:
- $21.00/hour
