Each July, Tofino comes alive with boats on the water and community spirit on full display. The Tofino Saltwater Classic, founded in 2009 by former NHL player Brendan Morrison, is more than a fishing derby — it’s a fundraiser that’s generated over $1 million for local youth and community programs.
Held July 4–5, 2025, the Saltwater Classic is a weekend full of west coast fun: fishing, music, kids’ events, and an incredible online auction.
