Front Desk Supervisor (Year-Round)
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and visitors of Tofino Resort + Marina.
- Supervise the efficient operations of reception including check in/out procedures.
- Support team members in handling guest requests and enquires to ensure a positive outcome.
- Ensure that the Rooms Division Manager is kept aware of any relevant feedback from Guests and/or other departments.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, adventure tours and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties.
- Be knowledgeable in local points of interests, adventure tours, restaurants and menus, beaches, and other attractions to make informed suggestions to guests.
- Monitor the standards and performance of the Front Desk Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
- Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire Team Members to exceed standards.
- Follow and adhere to company brand standards and standard operating procedures.
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships with all team members.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and physical condition of the front desk and office storage areas.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience required.
- 2+ years of supervision experience within the hospitality industry.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Competent level of IT proficiency with experience using various PMS, CRM and payment processing systems.
- Must enjoy shift work and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Reservationist (Year-Round)
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and visitors of Tofino Resort + Marina.
- Assist and advise customers on travel arrangements, itineraries, activities, and points of interest in Tofino.
- Make reservations for customers based on their requirements, preferences, and budgetary allowances.
- Verify the availability of accommodationon for the customers’ desired travel dates.
- Process payments and send confirmation details to customers.
- Promptly address and solve any booking issues or guest concerns.
- Promote and sell in-house reservation services.
- Up-sell, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services, experiences, and special packages.
- Provide support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
- Be the point of contact for wholesalers booking rooms for international travelers.
- Organize group room blocks.
- Create contracts and ensure rooming lists, deposits and itineraries are processed and accurate.
- Follow up with guests before and after their stay to verify travel details and gauge customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with accounting to ensure records are accurate.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience required.
- Hospitality experience an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
- Experience with Webrez and Fareharbour booking softwares an asset.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent organization and task prioritization skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Data entry experience.

Marine Tour Guide (Summer 2026 Season)
Job Description:
- Guide various marine adventure and wildlife tours such as bear watching, whale watching, the Remote Floating Sauna, Hot Springs Cove etc.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and visitors of Tofino Resort + Marina.
- Prepare and maintain vessels and equipment required to run a successful tour.
- Adhere to the highest level of industry safety standards as well as internal safety and operating policies.
- Address any guest concerns in a professional, and timely manner with the support of the Marine Division Manager.
- Maintain consistent and efficient communication with Adventure + Marine Operations office regarding trip scheduling and marine conditions.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- SVOP, MED A3, Marine Basic First Aid & CPR and ROC-M absolutely necessary.
- Level 1 Sea Kayak certification an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified marine captain.
- Punctual, organized, reliable and communicative.
- Knowledge of Clayoquot Sound and local flora and fauna an asset.
Wage
- $33-$48/hour based on years of experience.

Adventure Host (Summer 2026 Season)
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and visitors of Tofino Resort + Marina.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Resort and Adventure Centre offerings.
- Answer guest inquiries about adventure tours in person, via email, and over the phone.
- Assist guests with waiver completion and floatation devices.
- Monitor VHF Radio 66Alfa, check in with boat captains at regular intervals.
- Harbour Air flight check-ins + bookings.
- Moorage check-ins and bookings.
- Administer Tuff Fit gym memberships.
- Daily POS Transactions.
- Organize and re-shelve merchandise daily, maintain current product knowledge.
- Assist in retail inventory and on dock as required.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Eco-tourism/marine/hospitality background an asset.
- Willingness to learn and grow within eco-tourism and hospitality industry.
- Strong sales skills.

Dock Hand (Summer 2026 Season)
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and visitors of Tofino Resort + Marina.
- Clean, organize, and maintain dock and marina facilities.
- Conduct dock walks to ensure vessels are tied down securely and docks are clear from hazards.
- Perform minor repairs to dock facilities.
- Work in tandem with the charter office to facilitate docking and departures of vessels and Harbour Air seaplanes.
- Assist in icing fishing vessels.
- Assist in fueling vessels and float planes.
- Communicate dock rules and policies to guests.
- Advise moorage guests of sea and weather conditions.
- Assist in preparing vessels for Adventure Tours and cleaning boats post-trip.
- Prepare sport caught fish for processing.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience in the marine and boating industries required.
- Ability to problem solve in creative ways.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and take direction well.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of the Clayoquot Sound and local flora and fauna an asset.

Job Description:
- Clean hotel rooms daily.
- Provide stayover service for guests.
- Adhere to company standards of room cleanliness.

- Assist in the Resort Laundry Section when required.

Guest Service Agent (Summer 2026 Season)
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and visitors of Tofino Resort + Marina.
- Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments.
- Maintain full comprehensive knowledge of room locations, features, rates, packages, and property offerings.
- Book and accurately describe all Marina Adventure offerings.
- Effectively handle, investigate, and resolve and guest concerns that may arise in a professional and timely manner.
- Handle phone, email, and online reservations and inquires.
- Interact effectively with Guests and Staff to create a positive Resort experience.
- Attend to room requests when maintenance technicians or housekeepers are not available.
- Process gift cards and retail shop sales.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous Front Desk or customer service experience an asset.
- Strong ability to independently problem solve.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite software.
- Experience with Webrez PMS, Givex and Shift4 an asset.
- Flexibility with shifts is a must. 8 hour shifts typically begin at 7am or 3pm and you will be required to work both depending on business needs.

Housekeeping Manager (Year-Round)
The Housekeeping Manager at Tofino Resort + Marina oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role includes supervising and training staff, managing schedules, monitoring inventory and supplies, and coordinating with other departments to maintain smooth operations. The manager also serves as a key point of contact for guests, addressing questions, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This position is full-time, year-round, on-site at 634 Campbell Street, Tofino, BC.
Job Description:
- Implement and maintain housekeeping procedures and training checklists; ensure adherence by all staff.
- Train, motivate, and supervise the housekeeping team to maintain high performance and engagement.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address feedback efficiently, and resolve complaints promptly.
- Develop and manage budgets, control labour costs, and conduct inventory checks to maintain appropriate PAR levels.
- Conduct interviews, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews for housekeeping staff.
- Create weekly housekeeping schedules and approve hours in payroll software.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to address room deficiencies.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, focusing on cost-effective, high-quality products.
- Participate in team meetings, promote an open-door policy, and foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure consistent compliance with policies, standard operating procedures, and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Perform room checks, common area walkthroughs, and assist with cleaning guest rooms as required.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping management experience, one year preferred.
- Minimum 3 years housekeeping operations experience.
- Occupational first aid required.
- College or University level education required.
- Excellent time management and delegation skills.
- Highly organized and great attention to detail.
- Ability to create, and adhere to a detailed budget.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict.
