Reporting to the Marine Division Manager, the Marina Supervisor is responsible for performing and overseeing all daily land-related aspects of the marina and Adventure Center while on duty. Job Description
- Assist in training and monitoring performance standards for the Adventure Centre Team
- Delegate daily duties to Adventure Hosts and Dock Hands
- Assist with scheduling and adjust daily as operations dictate
- Maintain excellent knowledge of all resort and marina offerings
- Ensure the docks and marine office are always kept clean and tidy, and free of hazards
- Maintain strong knowledge of company and government regulations related to marine operations
- Answer guest inquiries about adventure tours in person, via email, and over the phone
- Tie off float planes and boats
- Facilitate a first-class guest experience for moorage, tour and Harbour Air reservations
- Maintain a positive relationship with annual moorage holders and address concerns as required
- Operate VHF radio to communicate with captains
- Customer service
- Administrative tasks, process bookings, email and telephone communication, payment processing
- Coordinate vessel arrivals and departures
- Weekly 1-on-1s with management to ensure smooth departmental operations
- Light duty maintenance and fish processing
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- Passion for the ocean
- Strong knowledge of boating practices, ecotourism, sales and customer relations
- Comfortable using a variety of computer software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working a variety of shifts including evenings (summer season) and weekends

Job Description
Adventure
- Directly manage the Guide Supervisor and Marina Supervisor, providing support and oversight of daily operations
- Directly manage the Logistics Coordinator, working collaboratively to optimize tour scheduling, the retail program and Tuff Fit gym
- Manage tour related expenses and operational supplies
- Ensure regulatory compliance (DFO, Transport Canada)
- Manage pricing, budgeting, and performance to meet revenue targets
- Maintain key industry and community relationships
- Oversee maintenance of tour equipment and operational inventory needs
- Oversee systems, inventory, guest experience, and issue resolution
- Handle escalated guest feedback with professionalism and efficiency
Marina
- Oversee the dock facility including moorage guests, maintenance, float plane program and trailer yard
- Oversee fleet maintenance of 6 tour boats, 10 kayaks, 3 trailers
- Manage fuel program (purchasing, receiving pricing and customer accounts)
Team Leadership & Administration
- Coach and develop Supervisors and Coordinator to build leadership capacity within the team
- Lead recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management, and payroll
- Lead regular team meetings, briefings, 1-on-1s and seasonal planning sessions
- Oversee departmental budgets, purchasing, and cost control to meet financial objectives
- Monitor staffing levels and adjust resources based on business demand and seasonality

Fishing Guide
Job Overview
Join our team as a Fishing Guide for the Summer 2026 season! This exciting role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about fishing and enjoy sharing their knowledge with others. As a Fishing Guide, you will lead groups of anglers on fishing excursions in our Kingfisher, Boston Whaler, and Bridgeview along Tofino’s rugged coast. Providing our guests with an unforgettable experience while ensuring safety and enjoyment is top priority. Your leadership and communication skills will be essential in educating clients about fishing techniques, local wildlife, and environmental conservation.
Season expectation April 1 – September 30, 2026
Job Description
- Guide full day (8h) and half day (5h) fishing charters
- Educate guests on fishing techniques, equipment usage, and local fish species
- Piloting vessels with maximum 600hp (twin screw)
- Preparation and daily basic maintenance of equipment for trips
- Executing best practices on fish handling, harvesting, and processing
- Be well versed in company and industry standards
- Guides paid biweekly, based on number of trips guided. No tip pooling
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- SVOP, MED A3, Marine Basic First Aid & CPR and ROC-M certification required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and educate guests
- Positive and self-motivated, able to work well independently and cooperatively with coworkers
- Punctual, organized, reliable with effective communication skills
- Thorough understanding of BC saltwater fishing practices
- Minimum 1 year experience as fishing captain

Housekeeping Manager (Year-Round)
The Housekeeping Manager at Tofino Resort + Marina oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role includes supervising and training staff, managing schedules, monitoring inventory and supplies, and coordinating with other departments to maintain smooth operations. The manager also serves as a key point of contact for guests, addressing questions, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This position is full-time, year-round, on-site at 634 Campbell Street, Tofino, BC.
Job Description
- Implement and maintain housekeeping procedures and training checklists; ensure adherence by all staff.
- Train, motivate, and supervise the housekeeping team to maintain high performance and engagement.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address feedback efficiently, and resolve complaints promptly.
- Develop and manage budgets, control labour costs, and conduct inventory checks to maintain appropriate PAR levels.
