Accounting + Housing Coordinator (Year-Round)
Job Description:
- Serve as the primary contact for staff accommodation, oversee all aspects of housing operations including room assignments, move-ins and move-outs, tenancy agreements, maintenance coordination, and supply management.
- Conduct bi-weekly staff housing inspections to ensure all accommodation meets company standards of health, safety, and cleanliness.
- Address all housing concerns promptly and professionally with the support of the Human Resources Manager.
- Light data entry including editing new employee files, updating housing tracking sheets, and ensuring all necessary staff housing paperwork is filled out.
- Assist GM in administering payroll in the absence of the Human Resources Manager.
- Other HR and Admin duties as required.
- Provide support to the Accounting Department for the hotel and marina.
- Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, ordering supplies etc.
- Handle communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- Process transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, etc.
- Assist Controller in preparing financial reports.
- Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare Daily Revenue Report (DRR) & distribution to management team.
- Handle Bank Deposits or Withdrawals
- Coordinate with all House Fund holders to make sure they have proper denomination.
- Disburse petty cash payments & process through Accounts payable for refund.
- Prepare all AR invoices (PDF copies) & inform Controller for onward handling.
- Any other task given by Controller or General Manager.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bookkeeping experience required.
- Relevant property management experience an asset.
- Strong leadership skills are a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task under pressure, and creative problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Proven ability to manage confidential information, including employee files, payroll data, and performance records, with the highest level of integrity and compliance with privacy standards.
- Strong financial acumen to compile budgets and be able to offer financial reporting for each department that falls under this role.
- Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills. Microsoft Windows/Office (Excel and Office 365) and QuickBooks experience is an asset.

Flight Service Agent (Summer 2026 Season)
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and visitors of Tofino Resort + Marina.
- Respond to enquiries about flights and adventure tours over the phone, in person, and via email.
- Make reservations for flights and adventure tours.
- Passenger check-ins, including baggage handling.
- Maintain clear communication with Harbour Air team and dock hands for flight updates and cancellations.
- Communicate flight updates to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in arranging alternative transportation for guests when flights are cancelled.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Harbour Air and Marina/ Adventure Centre offerings.
- Assist with Adventure Centre + dock duties as required.
- Assist in catch and release of aircraft.
- Other general counter duties as required.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Eco-tourism/marine/hospitality background an asset.
- Willingness to learn and grow within eco-tourism and hospitality industry.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

Housekeeper (March 2026 Start)
Job Description:
- Clean hotel rooms daily.
- Provide stayover service for guests.
- Adhere to company standards of room cleanliness.
- Maintain, clean, and stock housekeeping storage rooms and carts.
- Maintain and clean Resort property and common grounds.
- Assist in the Resort Laundry Section when required.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience an asset but not required.
- Cell phone with Canadian phone plan to communicate with team during work.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
- Comfortability cleaning pet-friendly rooms.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Interest in learning and growing within the hospitality and tourism industries.

Housekeeping Manager (Year-Round)
The Housekeeping Manager at Tofino Resort + Marina oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role includes supervising and training staff, managing schedules, monitoring inventory and supplies, and coordinating with other departments to maintain smooth operations. The manager also serves as a key point of contact for guests, addressing questions, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This position is full-time, year-round, on-site at 634 Campbell Street, Tofino, BC.
Job Description:
- Implement and maintain housekeeping procedures and training checklists; ensure adherence by all staff.
- Train, motivate, and supervise the housekeeping team to maintain high performance and engagement.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address feedback efficiently, and resolve complaints promptly.
- Develop and manage budgets, control labour costs, and conduct inventory checks to maintain appropriate PAR levels.
- Conduct interviews, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews for housekeeping staff.
- Create weekly housekeeping schedules and approve hours in payroll software.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to address room deficiencies.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, focusing on cost-effective, high-quality products.
- Participate in team meetings, promote an open-door policy, and foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure consistent compliance with policies, standard operating procedures, and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Perform room checks, common area walkthroughs, and assist with cleaning guest rooms as required.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping management experience, one year preferred.
- Minimum 3 years housekeeping operations experience.
- Occupational first aid required.
- College or University level education required.
- Excellent time management and delegation skills.
- Highly organized and great attention to detail.
- Ability to create, and adhere to a detailed budget.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict.
- Must be flexible in days available to work based on operations.
- Language of work is English.
Wage
- $36.60/hour with annual bonus structure.
