Songs for the Sound: Live Music. Community. Conservation.
Songs for the Sound 2026 was one for the books.
Thank you to everyone who joined us on May 23 at Tofino Resort + Marina for an unforgettable evening of live music, community connection, food + drink, dancing, and fundraising in support of Clayoquot Sound.
We were beyond stoked to see the event sell out and the waterfront filled with so many people coming together for a good cause. From the first set to the final song, the energy all evening long was incredible.
A huge thank you to Aaron Wylder, Dakota Cooney, Kieran Campbell, and Downtown Mischief for bringing the good tunes and making the night so special.
We also want to thank Tourism Tofino, The Strait and Narrow, Vancouver Island Brewing, YETI, Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort, Pacific Coastal Airlines, Rip Curl Canada, and Tofino Breath & Meditation for their support and donations, along with Shelter Restaurant and Cocofino for keeping everyone well fed throughout the evening.
From silent auction bids to ticket sales, drinks, and food purchases, every contribution helps support the Clayoquot Sustainability Fund in partnership with the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust, which has donated more than $167,000 to date. Funds raised support conservation, restoration, research, and education initiatives across the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Region.
Past beneficiaries of the fund include:
- Tofino Salmon Enhancement Society
- Raincoast Education Society
- Redd Fish Restoration Society
- Maaqutusiis Hahoulthee Stewardship Society
- Marine Education and Research Society
- Ha’oom Fisheries Society
Supporting this work is one of the ways we live our mission at Tofino Resort + Marina: Integrity. Passion. Sustainability.
Thank you again to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, performed, and supported Songs for the Sound 2026.
We’re already looking forward to next year. See you in 2027 💛
