At Tofino Resort + Marina, we know that re-opening our doors is inevitable, however, life and travel will never be the same. As we prepare to re-open to visitors, we are committed to ensuring all operations immediately align with COVID-19 orders, direction and safety protocols mandated by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) and regional health authorities. Download our detailed best practices document that outlines the steps we are taking to operate safely & responsibly.
We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.
Starting June 1st, we will begin welcoming visitors back to Tofino and we are now excepting room bookings for the summer months.
Protecting our people is our utmost priority. As such, we are reassuring those who feel the need to work from home that it is okay to do so, encouraging team members to practice social distancing whether they are at work or out in the community. Training our team members on enhanced cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing procedures will be part of the onboarding process for each team member returning to work. Virtual check-ins/outs are also being introduced to limit face to face contact.
We have a strong sense of urgency and duty to the community in which we live, as such, we’re are taking extended steps to help during these unprecedented times.
